"splurging @ the mall"

so having a social life for two hours can elevate your status by about half of a notch.

(yon and i went to the mall)

and we had a merry old time. 'twas tres fun for reasons i shall not list here. no, i will. (a) it was very exciting because we went shopping and we found express bras on sale @ $2.99 each! and express is such an expensive store. so we got lucky and were very happy about it! (b) we bought candy and kind of splurged on it... oh well. it feels too good to eat candy and then feel guilty about it. i don't know why. (c) things...

i said we had a merry old time. what is wrong with me?

so how do we like the new layout? i think it is wonderful, all thanks to kate (link to her is at the bottom of the page. i have seen too much html for today. blah. pasting and cutting and saving the old html... because i like to save that stuff.). the layout fits me much better than the purple stuff. it's all flutey and musical and even the fact that i love joshua is incorporated (in the previous and next links... can you find it?). it's so me. and so not plain. which is always a plus.

so i have this nasty zit-like thing on my chin. it's killing me. it's one of those painful ones, which makes it doubly nasty, and knowing me, it's going to stay there for a couple of weeks. and i have problems with popping zits (i know that the conversation is leaning more towards the really nasty side, but hey! c'est ma journal.) so that is out of the question.

ugh. i think that splurging on that sweet factory candy was a v. bad idea. i shouldn't have done it. it was a stupid idea and i will be feeling the effects of it for many days to come. isn't that a joyous thing?
