"imagine"

if everyone who visited my diary clicked that little link that says 'clix' on the side in my navigation, i might one day reach the top. so clix me please? i wanna see how high i can go this time. and if you really do love me, come back to clix me again. and again. and again. (hey be thankful i don't have a 'please clix me' message scrolling along the top of my diary. i saw someone who does. i ain't that creative.)

so guess who is coming over tomorrow! joshua! he and i are going to be studying together from... well, he's coming over at 9:30 am if that helps. he staying til a bit after dinner as well. it should be nice. we're not going to study the entire time because that would be absolutely insane so that means we'll get to talk and stuff. and hopefully i will learn some math. because i am seriously lacking in that department. i mean, 95 last quarter, 88 this quarter? i see seven points disappearing for no reason. oops.

i feel extremely bad because i told ashley that i couldn't sleepover tonight because i had to study and sleep. i didn't tell her that i would be seeing joshua. i felt really terrible when she asked. so yeah. :o( hurting my social life? maybe. oh well. i need to study.

oh. this. is. sick.

yesterday, all of the school districts in this state were on high alert because this idiot honors student made a threat that a 'columbine-type massacre' would happen at an unspecified high school in the state. and this kid calls the columbine murderers his heroes. that is so sick. and they were showing columbine footage on the television again.

i remember when that happened. *shudder* and i choose not to talk about it. because even though i am all-the-way-over-here, it's still upsetting.

i am getting sheet music. (o: it's really exciting. because i love getting new sheet music. there's something about new sheet music that brightens my day. it's crisp and fresh and the paper is pure white. there aren't any pencil or pen marks, no folds or bends. it's perfect. i hate ruining sheet music. carrying it around makes it cruddy, and the corners become doggy eared. i make copies of my music. i take several copies of music from mr. r at times just because i like to keep one copy beautiful!

my parents just came home with the sheet music. i read the cover of the book:

(4th edition) the ultimate pop rock fake book. 600 songs for piano, vocal, guitar, electronic keyboards & all "C" istruments. 1955 to 2000.

i have to open this. now. okie it is opened. there's music to "imagine" by john lennon. there's 600 songs. this is going to keep me busy and in musical heaven for a very long time. i am going to play my instrument now.
