"purgatorio"

I am really happy right now... Tonight I have spent nearly an hour and a half playing my flute. And one of the things I practiced was Purgatorio, because Sam told me that the band would be doing it. And I think I have the flute solo down... It isn't a piece of cake, but I worked hard on it, and I played with the recording I have of our music camp band doing it... And then I personalized it (meaning, I put my own interpretation of the dynamics, blah blah blah into the solo, and didn't just play it the way the recording's soloist does, which is what you are supposed to do) and I like what I have. Except for the last 5-7 notes. But that can still be worked on. So can the rest of the solo. But I'm liking what I'm playing.
