I apologize for once again mentioning the Yankees, but this will have emotion attached to it. This one has the great emotion of joy attached to it, joy that can only be felt when one hears the news that... Jeff Weaver (uber bad pitcher of the Yankees) has been released - designated for assignment. I am excited. I am enthralled. It's beautiful. I love the New York Lotto Jackpot commercials with the whole stage thing and the hippie guy talking about the Jackpot guy. I really love cheesy commercials. I sometimes watch TV just for the commercials because I find them much more entertaining than the actual TV shows. I once fell in love with the Pepsi Blue commercials that had the monks and the punk band. I hated that drink. It looks like Windex and tastes... Not like blue. I don't imagine that that is what blue would taste like. I think it would be sweeter, more invigorating. I think it would taste like a sip of life. Then again life isn't always sweet and invigorating. Like right now. Life is just blah. I'm so bored. But I guess it's not all that bad. Today was pretty good. Yon and I went over to the high school in hopes of decorating the CSC board. But they moved the board and there's nothing on it at all (not even background paper) and that was a problem. So we met with Pam and Dora (ex-co Presidents of CSC) and talked about our plans for the year. They really like what we've got and then they gave us some more suggestions and a lot more folders/papers. It was a lot of fun meeting with them in the guidance office, but kind of bittersweet. It's the last time we're seeing them because they're both going off to college. I'm really going to miss them; Yon and I got close to them and then a lot of other seniors. When I think about it, I was friends with at least fifteen seniors and now I'm really not going to see them. I know one is living at home and going to a local college, but I am not sure if I'd want to hang out with him. :) We promised Dora we'd send packages. Yon and I are good with gifts and packages. We get crazy but we have a lot of fun. Yet another sign that we are attached at the hip. We went and visited Kathleen after that... That was a lot of fun. We, or at least I haven't seen her since the last day of school. She was in Cali when I got home from CTY. Yon and I went to the mall after that. I felt social today. It's a good thing to feel social, especially when I'm not going to feel social during the school year. Joshua' in NJ. I really miss him. We could only talk for five minutes last night and we really didn't talk about anything. I think that whole thing with Mike wanting to talk to me (yesterday's entry) was bothering him; he wouldn't talk much at all. Agh. Such is life. I love Joshua. -Chelsea
