"cty-what i miss"

1). the showers. waking up and then waiting in line to take a shower. nothing beats trying to carry your shampoo bucket and hold your towel closed at the same time. 'tis a beautiful thing.

2). the classes. i chose them, i love them, i don't get bored in them. always a laugh, always a good time. no tests, no pop quizzes, no homework.

3). the sleepovers. a bunch of girls in one room with two "illegal" flashlights, a pile of candy from the devil's dan, and a million things to laugh about.

4). the passionfruit. i love the passionfruit. i love getting up earlier than i should to toast my friends and my alarm clock(s). i especially miss the last passionfruit(s).

5). the dorm room. my own room and another person's. ours to trash, decorate, do as we please with.

6). the boyfriend. i can't see him everyday anymore. it was so great to see him everyday. can't do that anymore.

7). the people. six weeks with people who are like me. no matter your clique at home, you're whatever you want with these people. you are yourself because everyone else is who they are. there's no pressure to be like the populars because there are no populars. twelve years old? sixteen? we're all the same here.

8). the ras. i miss the ras. (r-a's.) espcially my ras.

9). the improv activity. let's sit on the park bench and i'll make you laugh. you get off, and i'll be the next victim. no priest jokes, and while brett is sitting in the back, let's keep it clean.

10). the instructors/tas. (t-a's.) they made the classes what they were. they're the ones who picked out the materials, right?

11). the last dance. they're so much fun. it's the last time you'll dance that session, and for some, the last time they'll dance at cty. i broke down at the last dance and i'm getting all teary-eyed just thinking about it.

12). the mandatory fun. i have to say, our ras and admin staff are interesting... people. i think they're people. then i saw brett in a toga and... yes. that's right. ew.
