i am so sorry that i have not been around. i have been so busy, but before we go through the things i have been doing, got my report card on friday? no, saturday. here's the verdict:

english: 90

global: 94

chem: 95

math: 95

french: 98

gym: 100

band: 100

overall average: 95.69

so i made high honor roll. i was worried i wouldn't make high honor roll. (that would be found in october archives. i'm such a geek, worrying about my averages so much.)

so friday and saturday was had our performances of cinderella. cinderella isn't that great of a play. the music is repetitive and the lyrics are predictable. as joshua would say, typical rogers and hammerstein. and he is right. but...

that so did not affect how proud i am of myself!

everyone has been saying to me "congratulations on the show!" and "you played so well!" and stuff like that. it's such an ego boost. i love it, love it, love it!

but being in the pit was phenonmenal. yes, i was freaking out about it when i was just doing the rehearsals but when there's a huge audience and the lights are out, and it's really happening it is so amazing. it's a natural high, a sugar rush.

and i want more. so i will wait for the spring.

because if we play les mis, i will almost have my dream. i would be in the pit, probably on second flute, if my school did les mis. my dream is first flutist on broadway for les mis. which will probably never happen so we better do les mis! :)

i don't know if those are the right words but it is close enough for now. i was playing flute, not really listening to it.

so i am going to try to start a lincoln douglas debate team for my district. i have to learn ld... maybe i will just do it with joshua's school. but if i can not do that, i should really start one at school. paul thinks that would be really awesome and encourages me to do it.

i think that joshua and i are okay. i saw him on saturday!!!! we picked him up and we went to kohl's where i got him the coolest t-shirt. it says "blah-blah-blah-blah-blah my girlfriend never shuts up." awesomosity? awesomosity! and i got clothing. i tried so much on and i got most of it. :) poor joshua had to hold all of my clothing and then stand outside the dressing room... :)

i would write more but i have a million things to do so i will be back later to talk about my amazing wonder boyfriend (even though he does not wish to be known as the amazing wonder boyfriend. well he is because i love him and he is wonderful and he helps me out with stuff and is such a good boyfriend.)

i love joshua.
